Challenge Design was honored to be contracted to create a commemorative coin for the 2023 Playaz Invitational Tournament. This exquisite silver coin captures the spirit and elegance of the tournament with a meticulously detailed design. On the front side, a golfer is depicted in a dynamic post-swing pose, set against a vibrant multi-color green. A giant golf ball flies towards the viewer, bearing the inscription "Established 2003," symbolizing the tournament's longstanding tradition. The outer border of the coin proudly reads "The Playaz Invitational Tournament" across the top and "Tee it High, Let it Fly" across the bottom, encapsulating the excitement and competitive spirit of the event.
The reverse side of the golf coin showcases a Curt Teich postcard-style design, paying homage to the host city of Tampa. This colorful depiction features a serene palm tree beach scene, with "Tampa" prominently displayed in raised letters, each letter filled with iconic images of the city.
