Creating this particular challenge coin was an incredible honor for our team. We approached the design with the weight of responsibility that comes with representing the Office of the President. The coin itself is a large, shiny silver round that exudes elegance and authority. We used a dark navy color fill to contrast beautifully with the raised White House at its center, making the iconic structure stand out prominently. Around the outer border, the name "Joseph R. Biden, Jr., 46th President of the United States" is carefully engraved, giving the coin a personal and historical significance. To add a touch of exclusivity, we included President Biden's raised signature, a detail that makes this coin feel like a direct connection to his leadership.
The reverse side of the coin is where the design truly comes to life.
Overcoming a childhood stutter is a pivotal part of Joe Biden’s life story, shaping both his character and communication style. We paid close attention to the wood detailing of the podium, making sure the texture and craftsmanship were evident in every aspect of the design. To complete the design, the reverse side also features the red, white, and blue of the American flag proudly behind the podium. This not only represents the country but also the values and resilience the President symbolizes.
