Tunnel to Towers is a 9/11 charity based in New York, partnering with corporations and other charities nationwide. One such partnership is with Jack Daniels. Each year, we design a special coin to commemorate the 5K fundraising event.
Every participant in the Lynchburg, TN 5K gets a coin that commemorates both Tunnel to Towers and Jack Daniels. 'This is the coin that we designed for that event.
The outline of the coin was done just to add something special. Since the Tunnel to Tower and Jack Daniels logos are black and white, we wanted to add an element of Americana to the coin. We created this red white and blue mold just to add a little American Patriotism to the design. I think it turned out great. It's subtle, but it looks really cool.'
