The War Dog Memorial, an exact replica of the official memorial in Guam, was donated to the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine by Dr. Maurice Acree July 17, 1998.

The Replica honors the brave military canines who served alongside U.S. troops during conflicts in the Pacific region, particularly during World War II. These dogs played crucial roles in various tasks, including scout and patrol duties, messenger services, detecting mines, and providing security. The memorial also symbolizes the special connection people share with dogs. Learn More

Custom Challenge Coins

We're absolutely thrilled to have had the opportunity to work on custom challenge coins that celebrate the 25th anniversary of the War Dog Memorial at the university of Tennessee. It's an immense honor to pay tribute to the courageous military working dogs who have selflessly served alongside our troops throughout history. This coin stands as a powerful symbol of their unwavering loyalty, bravery, and sacrifice. By commemorating the War Dog Memorial in this way, we hope to not only honor the memory of these incredible animals but also to ensure that their contributions to our nation's security and freedom are never forgotten. It's truly humbling to be a part of preserving their legacy for future generations to cherish and admire.
